Dumpstaphunk rolled into New York’s Sullivan Hall last night and, as expected, a number of local players stopped by for a good ole fashion sit in. Throughout the late night set, no less than Eric Krasno, Cheme, Adam Deitch and Warren Haynes performed with the New Orleans-based band, which features the likes of Ivan Neville, Nick Daniels, Tony Hall, Raymond Weber and Ian Neville. For his part, Haynes appeared at the end of the group’s first set on covers of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son” and Alabama 3’s “Woke Up,” a number best known as the Sopranos theme song.
