Halloween Weekend at Sullivan Hall

This Halloween weekend, Sullivan Hall is the place to be for great live music and ghoulish dancing all weekend long.

Friday night will get you in the mood to groove with Telepath, The Macpodz, Mr. Breakdown & more. Self professed party bands and masters of funky jams, Mr. Breakdown and The Macpodz are the perfect matchup to get this rocking Halloween weekend started. On your feet is where you’ll stay, as Telepath’s unique take on world-influenced live electronic music is sure to keep the party moving all night long.

Keep those dancing shoes on for the Jimkata, Papadosio, and DVS late show on Saturday. DJ and guitarist DVS will set the ghouls in motion with his combination of deep analog beats, vintage soul melodies, and modern guitar. Papadosio will move the vibe into an electronic jam frenzy, perfectly setting the stage for a zombie dance off with Jimkata, whose combination of raw guitar power and industrial blasts of synthesizers and drum machines is set to keep the party raging well past the witching hour.

Topping off this incredible weekend will be Sun Ra Arkestra’s Halloween spectacle, directed by Marshall Allen. Keeping the avant-garde jazz fusion legacy alive, the Arkestra and Allen are sure to channel the ghost of Sun Ra himself. A magnificent spectacle not to be missed!
