Fri 8/10 Jam out with Jimkata & more
The four guys from Jimkata are an electro-rock band from Ithaca, NY. They opened for Umphrey’s McGee back in March and continue to tour and make their mark in the industry. Their fresh sound is influences by great music with strong guitar and prominent drums. Also performing with Jimkata will be Flux Capacitor, The McLovins, Mamojam, and Mother’s Wine.
Different from Jimkata, Flux Capacitor and The McLovins have more vocals and less jamming on the guitar. Flux Capacitor has shared the stage with Umphrey’s McGee, Keller Williams, Railroad Earth, and Rusted Root.
The McLovins are four guys from Hartford, CT and are improvisational rock, funk, and progressive. They opened for Max Creekduring the winter and will be performing at Gathering of the Vibes this summer.
Mamojam as a Jam Punk-Funk band. They gain influences from James Brown, Lettuce, Soulive, Phish, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Last but surely not least, Mother’s Wine is an up and coming band from Bergen County, NJ. These funky four get the crowd grooving to their smooth guitar riffs and free spirit stage presence.
