Pink Talking Fish Returns to NYC, 12/30 at Gramercy Theatre
Coming off the heels of a sold-out performance at the Brooklyn Bowl, hybrid tribute fusion band Pink Talking Fish is slated to make its triumphant return to New York City on December 30th at the Gramercy Theatre (tickets available here). Pink Talking Fish’s packed October 14th concert at the Bowl featured two stacked sets that skillfully combined and intermingled the historic catalogs of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish. One highlight of the night was the band’s masterful use of Phish’s classic “Divided Sky” as both an opener and closer to bring the first set full-circle. In set two, PTF’s cover of “David Bowie” cast a nostalgic but celebratory mood in the wake of the late David Bowie’s passing earlier this year. Find both set lists from the Brooklyn Bowl below:

On Friday, December 30th, Pink Talking Fish is scheduled to perform at the Gramercy Theatre following Phish’s third concert during their four-night run at Madison Square Garden. After nearly selling out the Gramercy Theatre in April, this electric tribute act is a surefire home run for your post-Phish plans. In addition, Pink Talking Fish just announced that on December 30th, they will perform a special “Animals” themed set, which will feature Pink Floyd’s album Animals in its entirety with Talking Heads and Phish “animal-centric” songs interwoven throughout. Tickets for each of CEG’s Phish After Parties, including Pink Talking Fish, are currently on sale at www.phishafterparties.com.
