Almost Queen: A Tribute to Queen To Play Brooklyn Bowl In Conjunction with “Freddie For A Day” Freddie Mercury Birthday Celebration

CEG Presents Almost Queen live at Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday, September 8, 2018 to support and celebrate Freddie Mercury’s birthday and the Freddie For A Day initiative, which was launched in 2010 and is a commemoration of the life of the iconic Freddie Mercury, bringing people together to dress as Freddie and to raise awareness and much needed funds to support the work of Mercury Phoenix Trust – fighting AIDS worldwide. The Mercury Phoenix Trust was founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and their manager Jim Beach in memory of Freddie Mercury who died in 1991 from AIDS. In the last 21 years the Trust has given away over 16 million dollars in his name and funded over 700 projects in the global battle against HIV/AIDS.

Almost Queen is proud to be a part of this celebration as the most authentic Queen live show since the days of Queen themselves. A deliberate 4 piece band, Almost Queen delivers a live show consisting of signature four-part harmonies and genuine costumes while recapturing the live energy that is the ultimate Queen experience.
