Once again, CEG Presents will host its traditional Phish Pre and After-Party series at multiple venues near Madison Square Garden. The initial line-up features performances at The Gramercy Theatre and The Cutting Room. Many more shows to be announced elsewhere.

On December 28, the beloved all-star tribute group formed at Catskill Chill, the Chillfam All-Stars will play tribute to Michael Jackson. The band features Elise Testone, Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band), Mike ‘Maz’ Maher (Snarky Puppy), and other musicians from Pink Talking Fish, Deep Banana Blackout, Eric Krasno Band and more. Their prior plays at Gramercy Theatre and Highline Ballroom have all sold out!

Also on December 28, new to the Phish After-Party series is the Ohio-based touring phenomenon known as The Werks.  Described as the virtuosic rhythm junkies of The Werks have released four highly acclaimed studio albums over the past ten years in addition to hosting their own annual music festival, Werk Out Festival.  The band will perform at The Cutting Room.

On December 29, Pink Talking Fish will fuse together the music of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish, three phenomenal bands who have artistically inspired people with their mind-blowing live performances.  Pink Talking Fish is a Hybrid Tribute Fusion Act who is no strange to late night shows. The band has been a part of the Phish After-Parties series for many years and have sold out previous shows.  This year, the band will perform at The Gramercy Theatre.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with British funk & soul band The New Mastersounds. The New Mastersounds have been delighting audiences with their infectious brand of funky soul-jazz since they formed in Leeds in 1999. For the first five years of the band’s career they were regulars at the Jazz Café in London, before they began to turn heads on the funk scene in the US, where guitarist/producer/bandleader Eddie Roberts now lives. For over a decade they have been a staple act of the late-night scene during New Orleans’ annual Jazz Fest. Though they have collaborated over the years with such musical luminaries as Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, Corinne Bailey Rae, Art Neville, Bernard Purdie and Lou Donaldson, they are at their best on stage as a tightly-packed quartet – bass, drums, guitar and keyboards – firing scorching grooves off each other and feeding on the energy of the dancers in the front row. The band includes Eddie Roberts on guitar & tambourine, Simon Allen on drums, Pete Shand on bass guitar, and Joe Tatton on organ, piano, tambourine.
