Brooklyn based band Brass Against as they perform renditions of politically charged anthems all across the musical spectrum December 11, 2018 at (le) poisson rouge. Known for expertly combining rock and edgy hip hop, Brass Against performances are both powerful and empowering. Their interpretations of songs by groups like Rage Against The Machine, Living Colour, Public Enemy have earned them the reputation of putting on a highly electrifying show that can’t be missed.

Led and curated by Brad Hammond, their goal is to create brass protest music that calls fans to action. They aim to resonate with the audience’s emotions and their music is more relevant now than ever in this politically challenging era. As the band puts it, “we are angry, we are inspired, we are ready for a change – and we hope our music amplifies this energy in everyone who listens.”
