Chip Taylor, Ha Ha The Moose and more!

Ha Ha The Moose

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. I guess we’ve been a little too consumed with the election. Last Monday we hosted FOD Fest, which was celebrating the life of journalist Daniel Pearl. Songwriter Chip Taylor showed up and performed with the FOD Fest house band. He didn’t play “Wild Thing”, but he did play “Angel of Morning.” This week is CMJ and we have a great underground hip hop show on Tuesday October 21 with Aceyalone/88 Keys/Izza Kizza and more. Thursday we have Biodiesel, Indobox and DJ Tucci. Halloween we have Josh Dion Band and the next night we’ll have Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad.

Some very exciting things on the horizon including:

Eric Krasno Band with members of Soulive and Lettuce on Nov. 6

Two nights of The New Mastersounds feat. vocalist Dionne Charles on Nov. 7 & 8

Big Sam’s Funky Nation on Nov. 21st

*moe. side project Ha Ha The Moose will be performing on Dec. 5 & 6

The Lee Boys, who will perform on the Conan O’Brien show will follow it up the next night at Sullivan Hall on Tuesday December 9.

Reggae band from DC SOJA comes back December 20.

And Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue with some expected special guests for December 30 and New Year’s Eve!

And we’ll be announcing our one year anniversary show soon!
