Electric Pop Duo Knower plays with Live Band this Sunday in Brooklyn

KNOWER, comprised of musicians Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi, is coming to Brooklyn this Sunday, June 26th, to throw down some electronic funk beats with the help of some very special guests.

Electro-jazz saxophonist Sam Gendel, pianist Dennis Hamm (Thundercat), and multi-instrumentalist Nate Wood  (Kneebody) will be joining the pop duo for an unforgettable night of jazz-infused electronic pop. Having collaborated with some of these artists in the past, the already wild energy of KNOWER only grows with these groovy additions.

Coming from Los Angeles, Cole and Artadi have been creating electronic funk-pop beats since 2010. Their DIY videos of both original songs and unique pop covers via YouTube has helped them establish a distinct musical presence throughout the years. Following the release of their third album “Let Go,” KNOWER recently returned home from an East Coast tour with WeYou and a performance at Bonnaroo 2013. They are currently working on new music and can’t wait to bust out some filthy rhythms at The Hall at MP this Sunday!

Joining KNOWER in Brooklyn to open the night is another talented male/female duo hailing from the magically musical city of New Orleans, Hildegard. Hildegard is a composition of leading vocalist Sasha Masakowski and guitarist Cliff Hines, along with guitarist John Maestas, bassist Max Moran, and drummer G Maxwell Zemanovic. The band  fuses the sounds of progressive rock with contemporary jazz in their explosive original music. They have toured throughout the U.S. and are continuing to create an evolution of sound with their explosive musical melodies.
