Snarky Puppy New Year’s Eve Run at New York City’s Irving Plaza
The Grammy Winning instrumental collective, Snarky Puppy, continues the tradition of playing New York City for New Years Eve. The band will perform two nights, Friday December 30 and New Years Eve, Saturday December 31, 2016 at Irving Plaza.
Led by bassist, composer and producer Michael League, the band released its first major label album, Sylva, on 5/26/15 via Impluse!/Universal Music Classics, which reached #1 on the Heatseekers Chart, #1 Top Current Jazz Album, and #1 Contemporary Jazz Album. The band recently released their new studio album, Culcha Vulcha this past April.
